We are thrilled to announce that Indirock is hosting an Open Day on May 25th as part of the “Spring Life Event” at Southend Victoria Centre!
What’s in Store for You?
To celebrate, we’ll be offering 15-minute free taster sessions every half-hour throughout the day, starting at 10:30am!
Why Should You Join?
Are you curious about Indirock? Have you been eager to give bouldering a try without any financial commitment? Well, now’s your chance!
Our FREE taster sessions are perfect for you! Here’s what you can expect:
- 15-Minute Sessions: Each session is limited to eight participants, ensuring you get the most out of your time.
- Safety Induction: Every taster session includes a safety induction to make sure you’re ready to climb safely.
- Extra Climbing Time: After the induction, enjoy some extra climbing time to experience what Indirock has to offer.
No Strings Attached
If you enjoy the session, you can continue climbing with a paid entry. If not, no hard feelings—we’re just happy you gave it a try!
How to Participate
You don’t need to book in advance, but you might need to wait until the next available session if we’re full.

Important Information
Supervision Requirements:
- General Climbing: The minimum age for general climbing at Indirock is 6 years. One adult can supervise two 6-17 year olds. If you’re supervising under 18s, you’ll need to register yourself even if you’re not climbing.
- For 4 and 5 Year Olds: We now allow 4 and 5 year olds to climb with specific safety measures:

- Supervision on a 1:1 basis only.
- The supervising adult cannot climb.
- Hold their hand while walking through the climbing center to ensure their safety.
- They should not climb higher than where their supervisor can reach their hips.
- Climbing sessions for 4 and 5 year olds must end before 6pm.
