At Indirock, you’re a child right up until your 18th birthday. Happy days! Young people aged 14+ can climb unsupervised if a parent or guardian provides written consent.
Practically anyone! Kids aged 4 and up can climb with an adult supervising. Preschoolers can join our soft play sessions.
Yes, we have brought in new measures to allow 4 & 5 year olds to climb (previously our minimum age was 6).
We cordon off a section of our climbing walls and provide a range of soft play equipment, from ball pit to tunnels, steps and slide. This gives an opportunity for young children to explore our climbing walls in a controlled environment.
Under 14s should always climb under supervision of an adult. 4 and 5 year olds must be supervised 1:1, and for 6-13 year olds one adult can supervise two children.
Young people aged 14+ may climb unsupervised once we have received written consent from a parent or guardian. They must display to us that they behave safely and responsibly. We may remove this right if they do not behave safely.
The Indirock Youth Squad is an invitation-only squad for young climbers who show the most promise. Find out more here.
Don’t worry, you won’t need to buy anything special in advance. Just come wearing comfy clothing with some stretch in it, and the rest we can sort out for you. You can hire a pair of climbing shoes and chalk to stop your hands from slipping. We also have lockers for you to use – please bring your own padlock, or you can buy those in our shop too. And that’s it!
Climbing sessions are unlimited time! So you can make yourself at home, take a break in our coffee shop. The session only ends when you choose to leave.
We charge the same entry fee at any time of day, except for “Super off-peak” which is on weekdays from 2-4pm (excluding school holidays).
Our 10 climb passes are valid for a whole 12 months and can be used any time! You can also gift passes to a friend or family member. Follow the link below, or show ID at the desk to get our concession price.
Yes! In fact we’ve had so much interest in our party packages, we’ve created a whole separate page for it here.
Our staff will give you an induction (covered by our £3 registration fee) the first time you come. If you’d like something more, you can book onto a course with us. We also offer private coaching – more info below.
Yes we do! Head to our shop below to purchase an online voucher, or if you’d like a physical gift card you can buy one over the counter at Indirock.
Almost all of our memberships offer unlimited climbing, any time! Our Super Off-peak Membership offers entry any time before 4pm on weekdays, including the school holidays.
Yes we do. We offer concession rates to students and over 60s, and also local workers and Blue Lights. If you’re on a low income, we offer substantial discounts. We also work with local charities to offer free climbing.
We now offer private parties on Saturday nights, 6-7:30pm. There is even the option to turn your party into a UV climbing party! If this idea floats your boat, drop us an email on hello@indirock.co.uk to book.

Under 18s should always climb under supervision of an adult. In some circumstances, where we have observed over time that a young climber (14+) is experienced and behaves in a responsible manner, we may grant them the ability to climb without supervision. We reserve absolute discretion to make this decision.
