31 May Indirock’s Summer Boulder Competition: All you need to know
Did you take part in IndiBlock Stars, Indirock’s first boulder league? The finals took place in March 2023, and what an event that was!
Well, we’ve decided we can’t leave it another year before we experience those amazing vibes again. This time we’re doing a ONE DAY comp – on Sunday 23rd July 2023.
Whether you’re aiming for a place in the finals or you’re just along for a bit of fun, this will be a day to remember!
This time there are also cash prizes up for grabs, upping those stakes… Prizes will include:

🏅 SILVER: £50 (or two month’s free climbing at Indirock), NEW Indirock hoodie & more
🏅 BRONZE: Two month’s free climbing at Indirock, NEW Indirock t-shirt & more

We are stoked to announce that we’ll have team GB climber, Ninja warrior competitor and head routesetter at the Font, Matt Varela-Christie, as our superstar guest setter for this competition. Matt will be setting alongside our head setter Jakub Stec and in-house setter Jack Thomas.
Qualifications will take place in two time slots, to manage numbers. There are only 40 spaces available in each time slot, so we recommend booking early! Please pick one slot for your booking.
Tickets cost £20 if you book in advance (or just £10 to monthly members) – a bargain for a great day out climbing premium blocs with friends! On the day, all tickets will cost £25.
This one-day comp is open to all ages, with the two finals categories open to men and women of all ages. However, there will be age brackets for our leaderboards, including under 14, under 18, 18-45 and over 45s, and also non-binary categories, with small prizes up for grabs in each category.
As a one day comp, the finals will run in the evening of the same day, so please factor that into your travel plans.
