Excitement is building for the Paris Olympics 2024, and if you’re wondering where to catch all the action, look no further than Indirock. Known for our vibrant venue and community spirit, Indirock is the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere of this year’s Olympics sport climbing, in Essex!
Located in the heart of Southend city centre, every evening between 5-10th August 2024 Indirock will transform into an Olympics haven. With this year’s bouldering and lead climbing events screening in the morning, watching them from home will be a juggle with work and other commitments. But Indirock has your back! We’ll screen replays each evening, so you can relax, watch them with a friendly crowd and don’t need to miss a thing.
Sport climbing first aired at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, and Team GB put forward only one GB climber: the amazing Shauna Coxsey. This year that number has quadrupled to four olympic climbers representing Great Britain: Molly Thompson-Smith, Erin McNeice, Toby Roberts and Hamish McArthur. Four amazing athletes for us to cheer! Find out more about these Great British sport climbers here.

Indirock offers a variety of food options, including our popular Coach, Climb and Curry nights every Thursday. We also have a range of alcoholic and hot and cold soft drinks, including nutritious smoothies, shakes and frappes to keep you cool and fueled through your climb right through to the screening.
So, gather your friends and family, head to Indirock, and make this Olympic season unforgettable!
