Investing for the future
Through the highs and lows of running Indirock over the past four years, pricing has been one of the hardest things we’ve had to deal with. We wish we could leave it alone, and that’s why we haven’t put our climbing prices up since April 2024!
But we’re ambitious to keep delivering the best experience for our customers at Indirock, which means we have to keep investing.
As well as new holds, we’re about to refresh all our climbing volumes in time for the IndiBlock Stars final – we’re stoked to release these new shapes for you, which will transform the topography of our walls.
We’re also lining up changes to our gym space, which will allow us to offer more weight training equipment and also provide space for physiotherapists and others to provide services in our old gym room.
With the changes in our routesetting team, we’re spending more on freelancers this year, bringing you fresh flavours in every set. Despite these rising costs, we’re committed to bringing you a new set every Monday, meaning there’s always new challenges for you to try.
We’re investing in bigger and better prizes, DJs and activities throughout IndiBlock Stars this year, adding to the vibes and meaning more people have the chance to win!
And this is all while our staff salaries, national insurance, business rates, rent and electricity are all increasing, to name just a few of our rising costs.
Trying to limit the price rises
So, we’ve looked long and hard at our prices and have decided NOT to raise most of our memberships. We’ve also removed our £3 registration fees, and our two week intro and annual passes will remain the same price.
Our new prices, coming in effect in January 2026, will look like this:

As ever, we will continue to offer our 50% discount on climbing passes to anyone on universal credit, as well as 10% off for student/over 60s and Blue Lights/local workers. As a non-profit, we will keep working tirelessly to raise grants to reduce these costs further for participants on our charitable projects.
